Last week, the Canadian Pharmacists Journal published a study that was done with pharmacists on our Professional Certification Program (PCP). The goal of the study was to determine whether the patients of pharmacists who took the PCP had lower systolic blood pressure. 104 pharmacists were involved in the study, along with 890 patients.
Ultimately, the study found that pharmacists who completed our PCP course saw a 4.76 mmHg systolic BP reduction in their patients at 3 months. Additionally, patient satisfaction was high. This demonstrates that the PCP course is valuable to both healthcare providers and patients. To learn more about our PCP course, you can click this link. We have issued a press release in order to help raise awareness about the study and its results.
